Signature Systems Group, LLC to Relocate Corporate Headquarters to Dallas, Texas

New York, NY - October 7, 2014 - Signature Systems Group, LLC, the world's largest manufacturer of modular flooring and roadwaysystems for access and ground protection, announced today that the company will relocate its corporate headquarters from New York City to Flower Mound, Texas, a thriving suburb of Dallas/Fort Worth. The move was spurred by the company's exceptional growth in both domestic and global markets. With offices in New York, Florida, Baltimore, Los Angeles, and now Dallas, Signature will be in an ideal position for further expansion and able to respond dynamically to future changes.

Effective January 5, 2015, this relocation will allow Signature to more effectively reach customers in the special event, oil and gas, stadium, sports, military, and disaster relief industries. In addition to its strategic location, the new facility will provide room for future organizational growth and will feature a 30,000 square foot, state-of-the-art distribution center and product showroom that will allow customers to experience the entire range of Signature products first-hand.

"Our upcoming move provides Signature with a tremendous opportunity for growth and development by enlarging our geographic footprint as we build for the future," said Signature's CEO Seth Gordon. “The brand-new corporate office and distribution facility in Flower Mound will give us improved access to our largest under-serviced domestic markets in Texas, Oklahoma, and America's heartland. Six of the 17 largest U.S. cities are within a 4-hour drive of our new corporate headquarters, which offers these regions comprehensive local service."

"While we are moving our corporate headquarters to Texas, we are not leaving New York entirely and will maintain regional sales, marketing, and other key personnel here. Our manufacturing and distribution facility in New York will also remain in place and unchanged," Seth Gordon added.

Signature Systems Group, LLC is a worldwide leader in the manufacture of specialty flooring and matting systems. With locations in New York, Los Angeles, Baltimore, Orlando and the UK, Signature supplies products and services to the special event, oil and gas, stadium, sports, military and disaster-relief industries. Facilitation of stadium-venue concerts a winner in UK & Europe!

New York, NY - July 17, 2014 - Signature Systems Group, LLC, a worldwide leader in the manufacture of stadium turf protection, specialty flooring and fencing products, announced that its Signature Europe division successfully completed the facilitation of ten stadium-venue concerts in June 2014.

The concerts, performed by world renowned artists such as Elton John, Indochine, Kings of Leon, One Direction, Rod Stewart, The Rolling Stones and performers at the North East Live Festival, were presented at various stadia across the UK and at the Stade de France in Paris. "Stadia personnel recognise that concerts are one possibility for filling 35,000 to 60,000 seat venues in between football and rugby matches,” said Tony Booth of Signature Europe. "Yet, stadia were not designed to facilitate these events. Imagine taking a stadium built for athletics and turning it into a place where people and vehicles can travel safely over the expensive turf without injuring a blade of grass."

"The public never sees the monumental effort it takes to ready a venue for a performance. The timelines for assembly and break down are always tight, challenging and often depends on the other commodity suppliers’ on-site schedules. On average, it takes between eight and twelve hours to set up the temporary flooring and after the event, it must be disassembled and packed away, thus precise attention to detail and painstaking coordination is key," said Booth.

Since inception in 2010, Signature Europe has grown steadily. "The business drive continues apace and in September, Signature Europe is providing the temporary flooring for the upcoming Beyoncé and Jay Z concerts in Paris. "It's encouraging to see our leadership in the UK has replicated and improved the model developed in the US,” said Jason Frew, Vice President of Worldwide Rentals & Stadium and Arena Sales.

ATC Introduces Exclusive Monte Carlo Event Carpet

March 24, 2014 –American Turf and Carpet, the world’s largest supplier and installer of custom event carpet, introduces their brand-new Monte Carlo™ Event Carpet today. Conceived by ATC’s Director of Business Development, Shawn McKee, Monte Carlo is a high-quality specialty tent and event carpet that provides an affordable, up-market alternative to artificial turf.

Available exclusively from ATC and intended for use both indoors and outdoors, Monte Carlo is ideal for event planners who need to cover large areas and want the elegant look and feel of carpet, but are working within a budget that would normally allow only for less expensive options. Monte Carlo features a durable Eco-Marine backing, is available in 12’ widths, and comes in 11 different colors.

“Monte Carlo solves a problem that event planners face daily: how do you cover large areas of ground without breaking the bank? Before Monte Carlo event carpet, the only option was low-cost artificial turf. Now, this exclusive ATC product offers event planners the elegance of real carpet for the same price as turf,” said Mr McKee. “It’s an easy decision for any event planner to choose Monte Carlo: with a wide variety of colors to match different events and themes and with a cost identical to traditional artificial turf, the question isn’t, ‘Why would you choose Monte Carlo?’ It’s really, ‘Why wouldn’t you?’” continued Mr. McKee.

ATC's General Manager Gauro Coen has been getting the word out to customers and had this to say:"It's an easy sell. I say to them, 'Artificial turf was invented in the 1970's, Monte Carlo in 2014. Using an outdated product like artificial turf instead of our brand-new Monte Carlo is like choosing an old Hoover vacuum cleaner over a high-tech Dyson.'"

American Turf and Carpet is the world’s premier manufacturer and installer of innovative, high-quality event carpet and synthetic turf for projects of any size, from intimate weddings and custom logo rugs to huge events and festivals. American Turf & Carpet offers nationwide services with corporate headquarters in NYC and 4 sales and distribution facilities strategically located throughout the U.S.

Signature Installs World Record Red Carpet at the Famous Hollywood Christmas Parade

Hollywood, CA- American Turf and Carpet, the world's largest supplier and installer of custom event carpet, recently supplied and installed the largest red carpet runner in history at the Hollywood Christmas Parade on December 1st, 2013.

American Turf and Carpet worked with the organizers of the annual event to cover a section of the world-famous Hollywood Boulevard. This installation evoked the look of a red carpet movie premiere and helped to make the hosts Erik Estrada, Dean Cain, Laura McKenzie, and Montel Williams feel at home as they and other celebrities travelled the parade route.

The scale of this job was no problem for American Turf and Carpet. Gauro Cohen, American Turf and Carpet's California General Manager explains, "When we say that ATC can handle 'any job, no matter how large', we mean it: the 60'x900' red carpet we installed for the Hollywood Christmas Parade in Los Angeles that may be eligible for a Guinness World's Record! That's 54,000 square feet of carpet, enough to cover an entire football field!"

He went on to say, "Keep in mind, this was basically an overnight installation and there was pressure to make sure this project went smoothly: Hollywood Boulevard had to be open for business the day before and we needed to remove the carpet the day after the event!"

This was not ATC's first high-profile Hollywood event: they work on many highly visible projects that take place in Los Angeles every year, including ESPN's ESPY Awards and the Golden Globes. Many of ATC's previous projects can be found on their blog at http://www.americanturfandcarpet.com/blog/.

American Turf and Carpet is the world's premier manufacturer and installer of innovative, high-quality event carpet and synthetic turf for projects of any size, from intimate weddings and custom logo rugs to huge events and festivals. Seth Gordon Assumes New Role As President and Chief Operating Officer of Signature!

New York, NY November 6, 2013: Effective November 4, 2013, Seth Gordon will serve as President and COO of Signature Systems Group, LLC, one of the world's largest manufacturers and providers of specialty surfacing for special events, exhibits, athletic facilities, and industrial applications including energy exploration and construction. Signature was founded in 1998 by former President and CEO, Arnon Rosan, who built its product line, manufacturing capabilities and distribution to dominate the temporary flooring market. Mr. Rosan is stepping outside of the manufacturing and events industries into a new role at a start-up tech company.

"In the time that I have been privileged to lead Signature," explains Rosan, "I have watched it grow from $0 in sales and two employees (including myself) to nearly $100 million in sales and over 125 employees, with customers on every continent. It has been an exciting ride, one that I know Seth Gordon and the rest of the team will continue. I am honored to have had the opportunity to work with such an incredible group of employees and talented management team, and to have a chance to build something truly special with the team. As an entrepreneur, I felt it was time to transition into a new start up."

Seth Gordon was hired in 2008 as Signature's Director of Business Development and promoted to Senior Vice President of Strategy in 2012. In his five year journey to Signature's helm, Gordon played a key role in expanding Signature's reach to new industries, including energy exploration, sports surfaces, exhibitions and experiential marketing. He was also integral to establishing Signature's European headquarters in the United Kingdom and winning the bid for Signature's largest project to date, supplying more than 2,000,000ft² of temporary flooring and roadways to the 2012 London Olympics.

"It has been a true privilege to work under Arnon for five years, learning about the industry from a dynamic pioneer, and growing and thriving with the company in the entrepreneurial family culture that he has fostered at Signature. I am honored and humbled by the opportunity to continue what he started and to take Signature to the next level," says Gordon.

"The transition to Seth's leadership began some time ago and has been part of our long term growth plan. I believe Seth is ready to lead Signature to ever greater success and know he will do so while keeping the entrepreneurial spirit of Signature intact" said Rosan.

Looking forward to the future, Gordon says, "I am encouraged by the extremely talented and dedicated team of professionals in the organization at every level. From my colleagues on the factory floor to those in senior management, Arnon created an environment where every member of the team matters, and together we are greater than the sum of our parts. I have been overwhelmed by the team's support and am truly appreciative and proud to steer this ship towards our shared exciting future."

Signature Systems Europe is Moving Up

After a period of spectacular growth, Signature (Fencing & Flooring) Systems Europe Ltd is moving into new markets with a new website and a new flagship warehouse and office space in Darlington, UK. Signature manufactures, sells, and hires modular flooring and fencing products which they previously marketed mainly to the special events industry. Just a few years after their American parent company, Signature Systems Group, LLC opened the Darlington branch, they have expanded to cater to new markets including construction, energy exploration, the military, disaster relief, exhibitions, trade shows, and sport facilities;  providing new products such as carpet, artificial turf, heavy-duty access mats, and permanent gymnasium flooring.  All of this growth has led Signature Systems Europe to relocate to a larger facility that can accommodate their growing staff and warehouse their considerably larger catalogue. Today they launch their new website, www.signaturesystemseurope.co.uk to promote and support their growing operations in the UK and Ireland, Europe and beyond.

“We’ve managed to grow and thrive by following the business model of our parent company, competing with larger companies on price and quality while providing the level of customer service normally associated with small businesses,” said UK Director Tony Booth when asked about their startling success amid an uncertain economy. “Because we had the full backing and support of Signature, we (Signature Systems Europe) have been able to secure and complete some of the biggest contracts in the UK special events industry, including the 2012 Olympics where we provided more than 200,000 square metres of vehicular and pedestrian trackway to 25 venues. It’s like a self-feeding machine; the more we grow, the bigger the contracts we secure, which leads to more growth and bigger contracts.”

Signature Systems Europe aims to continue their exponential growth while maintaining their small company mentality. “The industrial, trade show, and sports industries aren’t very different from special events in that the quality of our relationships is as important as the quality of our products. Our clients have to be able to trust us to make their deadlines, accommodate their unique needs, and respond promptly and professionally should any problems arise. It is also essential that our smaller clients know that they are just as important to us as the larger ones.” Tony went on to explain that while the new markets they are tapping into may seem disparate, many of Signature’s core products are extremely versatile and have already been in use by those sectors. Signature is now offering a full range of products suited to those industries and is marketing their industry-specific uses and applications.
